Practice

The F 5 is commonly used for fixed mounting of 3/8"-threaded clamps or goosenecks (e.g. SGC or S 250 L5U).

It can also be used below the edge of the table to mount a suspension. Then the gooseneck can be optically unobtrusively guided through a small hole in the table, without having to use the elastic flange TEF.
