Our suggestions for choosing a version of TR:
- The TR 200 EL is our standard model. It allows the use of MK capsules, and has in its base plate a Lemo output connector to which the included XLR adapter cable (K 5 LU) can be attached. No further microphone amplifier is required, and pickup of interference in the cable is reliably avoided.
- The TR 200 L likewise has a Lemo output connector in its base plate, in this case for attaching the K 5 LU cable that comes with a CCM microphone or CMC 1 L amplifier. Its front end has a Lemo plug for attaching a CCM-L microphone or CMC 1 L amplifier. This version is recommended particularly when CCM-L microphones are already on hand or when all higher-priced parts need to be removable easily from the table stand.
- The TR 200 KC is our "classic" model. It has a non-removable 2-meter output cable with a connector for attaching to a CMC microphone amplifier. It, too, allows the use of KM capsules.
